the 7845C to almost any security system to transmit alarms and supervisory signals to the
Central Station in the event telephone service is interrupted.
After the radio is powered up - the LED should be observed to
determine the optimal installation location. The installation LED will indicate signal
strength - network contact and installation suitability. The radio is wired to the panel
per wiring diagram provided with the radio. It can be installed close to or inside the
panel itself. Installing 7845CZ within the panel may require the use of external
antenna 7825OC. The radio is mounted according to the mounting instructions
noting that the antenna must be vertical. Radio should not be mounted where it would be
obstructed by a steel structure or security doors and windows which may be pulled down at
night.
