New Page 12826 Self Powered Water Sensor. For Use With All Wireless TransmittersRequiring Normally Closed N/C Circuits. Compatipble With All Ademco-DSC-Napco-ITI-GE-Visonic Powermax Wireless Systems C Form Relay N/O Or N/CContacts Connects Directly To Your Wireless Transmitter Hardwired Input. Detects Non-Volatile Liquids Microprocessor Controlled Installs Easily
8-Year Battery LifeAPPLICATION: The G.R.I. 2826 Detector was designed in response to a direct requestfor a small electronic sensor capable ofdetecting non-volatile liquids in remote hard to reach locations. The sensor, inconjunction with your favorite wireless transmitter, can be used to detect and report theencroachment of non-volatile liquids into an isolated sensitive location.DESCRIPTION: The G.R.I. 2826 Detector is an internally powered, microprocessorcontrolled device that samples the conductivitybetween any two adjacent sensor points located on the bottom of the device. Powerconsumption is less than 1 micro-amp while in the standby mode. This allows for anextended duty cycle. Relay contacts are latched in an open or closed position based on the conductivitymeasured between the sensors. External wire connections are provided to allow access tothe C form relay contacts for output control of an external device.INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: To install the G.R.I. 2826 Detector, place the unit where liquid is mostlikely to accumulate. Clean and dry the desired placement location. A smooth surface ispreferable and preparing surface by using an alcohol wipe is recommended. Removeprotective paper from double sided tape, then stick the unit to the cleaned surface. Toconnect the 2826 Detector wires to an external device, see the installation instructionsfor that device.
