X-10 PAM01 2 Pin Appliance Module
The AGC Appliance Module incorporates an advanced X-10 powerline circuitdesign which
allows the module to operate in adverse environments. The principaladvantages are greater
sensitvity and better noise rejection. These modules are recommended forall installations where
reliability of operation is paramount.
The AGC Appliance Module is designed to control loads with the followingratings:
Resistive load 15A
Motor load 1/3 HP
Incandescent load 500W
TV/Stereo 400W
The module is available in two plug formats: two-pin (PAM01) and three-pingrounded (PAM02).
Setting up the Appliance Module
• Set the Unit Code dial to an unused code which can be controlledfrom the Security Remote,
PSR01, when using the X-10 PRO2000 Security Panel (switches 1-4 controlUnit Codes 1-4) or
any other desired controller.
• Plug an appliance into the Appliance Module and plug the ApplianceModule into a convenient
AC outlet.
Local control
The Appliance Module includes circuitry to sense the appliance's ownon/off switch to turn the
appliance on locally. To switch the appliance on, turn the appliance'sswitch off then on again.
