Whenconfigured to provide high catch performance Digital Bravo3P detectors will reject asingle pet weighing up to 30lbs (13.6 kg). In applications where multiple pets areinvolved or a higher level of pet rejection is desired - Digital Bravo3P PIRs can be set toreject single or multiple pets having a combined weight of up to 60 lbs. (27.3 kg).
Detection Accuracy
The use of digital technology enables the Digital Bravo3P PIR motion detector to providesuperior analysis of the detected signal. The digital information can be more accuratelyanalyzed with the detector’s powerful microprocessor and onboard software. Themicroprocessor performs an array of precise mathematical and logical functions - andenables DSC’s patented Multi-level Signal Processing (MLSP) technology to moreeffectively condition the signal for more accurate signal interpretation. In addition -because digital signals are not subject to signal degradation caused by amplification -noise - distortion or signal clipping - Digital Bravo3P PIRs provide better catch and falsealarm immunity than analog detectors.

In competitive testing, the pet immunity characteristics and catch performance of theDigital Bravo3P PIR have been thoroughly tested against competitive detectors claimingsimilar capabilities. The Digital Bravo3P detector clearly demonstrated an overallsuperior combination of pet rejection and intruder detection in both the NORMAL mode (highsensitivity) and HOSTILE mode (low sensitivity).
In addition it experiences the leastamount of reduction in detection area when switched from NORMAL to HOSTILE mode.
High Temperature StabilityDigital Bravo3P detectors employ two distinct series of operational parameters and aprecise temperature compensating algorithm to provide consistent and accurate detectionover the entire operating range of 32°F (0°C) to 122°F (50°C).
When a Digital Bravo3P detectorsenses that the environmental temperature is within a specified range of normal human bodytemperature - it automatically switches to the more sensitive series of operationalparameters - ensuring consistent performance. In addition - the temperature compensatingcircuitry continuously monitors the environmental temperature and initiates adjustmentsthat optimize the IR signal differential between the environment and an intruder -resulting in accurate catch performance and increased false alarm immunity.
