The 7845CV2 communicates on the Cellular Network’s Control Channel. Alarm and status packets are transmitted into the cellular network control channel where they are identified and routed to the AlarmNet Control Center. The AlarmNet Control Center logs status checks and routes alarms via RF to any AlarmNet equipped Central Station anywhere in the country. There is no cellular phone call required and no system busy conditions to deal with. It is fully supervised by AlarmNet and there is a low fixed monthly charge for normal traffic. There is no additional hardware or software required in Central Stations already equipped to receive AlarmNet. The transceiver connects to most ADEMCO alarm control panel. A security system’s most vital link — the telephone line — is also its most vulnerable. The 7845CV2 contains an internal tamper-proof antenna for an added levelof protection.
All signals are delivered to the AlarmNet Control Center, which routesthe information to the appropriate central station. The AlarmNet Control Center is fullyredundant and monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
AlarmNet has the ability to route messages using the AlarmNet “A”,AlarmNet “M”, AlarmNet “I” and 800 plus networks,all of which providetrue redundancy and the highest reliability in message delivery.

Installation:
After the radio is powered up - the LED should be observed todetermine the optimal installation location. The installation LED will indicate signalstrength - network contact and installation suitability. The radio is wired to the panelper wiring diagram provided with the radio. It can be installed close to or inside thepanel itself. Installing 7845CV2 within the panel may require the use of externalantenna 7825OC. The radio is mounted according to the mounting instructionsnoting that the antenna must be vertical. Radio should not be mounted where it would beobstructed by a steel structure or security doors and windows which may be pulled down atnight.
